Expanding Vocational and Workforce Training Opportunities: Empowering Texans with Skills for the Future
Not every good job requires a college degree — but every Texan deserves the opportunity to build a meaningful, productive, and financially secure life.
As technology and artificial intelligence rapidly reshape our economy, we must ensure our workforce is prepared for the jobs of tomorrow. That means investing in vocational education, technical training, and career development programs that open doors for working families, young adults, and mid-career workers alike.
I believe the federal government should partner with state and local leaders to fund and expand programs that teach in-demand job skills — from advanced manufacturing and healthcare to renewable energy and information technology.
This is not about handouts — it’s about a hand up. By investing in practical job training, we empower Texans to adapt, thrive, and contribute to a stronger, more resilient economy.
Issue Two:
Protecting and Strengthening Public Education: Free, Quality Public Education for Every Student
Every child — regardless of disability, race, gender, or ZIP code — deserves access to a free, high-quality public education. Public schools are the foundation of our democracy and the gateway to opportunity for millions of American families.
Yet, the growing use of private school vouchers is draining resources from our public schools. As funding leaves the system, teachers face pay cuts, vital programs are reduced, and students lose access to the support they need to succeed.
I believe we must fully fund public education — not undermine it. That means paying teachers a fair wage, investing in special education, and ensuring that every student has the tools, technology, and support they need to thrive.

Issue Three: Supporting Small Businesses and Local Growth: Investing in America’s Entrepreneurs
Small businesses are the backbone of our economy — creating jobs, driving innovation, and strengthening our local communities. Yet too often, small business owners struggle to access the capital they need to grow, modernize, and compete in an evolving marketplace.
I believe the federal government should play an active role in supporting small businesses through targeted loan programs and tax credits that encourage investment, expansion, and research and development. These programs would help entrepreneurs purchase equipment, hire more workers, and bring new ideas to life.
To ensure accountability and protect American jobs, all businesses participating in these programs should be required to use E-Verify. This simple safeguard promotes fairness, transparency, and trust while keeping opportunities open for hardworking Americans.

Issue Four: Term Limits and Accountability: Restoring the People’s Voice in the People’s House
The U.S. House of Representatives was never meant to be a lifetime appointment — it was designed to be the people’s house, a place where everyday Americans have a voice in shaping our nation’s future.
Too often, career politicians treat Congress like their own private country club, disconnected from the people they were elected to serve. This culture of entitlement erodes trust and stifles the fresh ideas and diverse perspectives our democracy depends on.
